One Mission – Endless Opportunities
The mission of Martin Luther College is to train men and women to meet the public ministry needs of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
MLC’s Spring Play — Alice in Wonderland
May 4, 3:00 & 7:00 PM
(Martin Luther College Auditorium)
In this endearing version of Lewis Carroll’s memorable story, Alice is cautioned by the White Rabbit to take good care of the Queen’s tarts, which are to be served shortly at the croquet match. While Alice’s back is turned, the tarts are stolen. Alice, realizing that the White Rabbit will lose his head if the tarts are not discovered in time, goes in search of the thief. Her quest leads her through a maze of incredible and suspenseful adventures, climaxed by a trial scene in which the thief is discovered. Reimagine your experience of Wonderland in Madge Miller’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland!
Tickets are $3 for all attendees and will be sold at the door only, beginning 30 minutes before each show time.
School performances take place during the day on May 2-3. If your school or homeschool group is interested in attending, please contact us at mlcforum@mlc-wels.edu to inquire about seating availability.
MLC Day 2024!
This day is set aside for our campus family to connect with our congregations, elementary schools, high schools, friends, families, and donors. This annual celebration is an opportunity for our campus and our friends to do three things:
- Share the importance of ministerial education at MLC – especially since we have such a great need for pastors, staff ministers, and teachers.
- Encourage elementary school students, high school students, and second-career adults to consider preparing for the public ministry at MLC.
- Thank our donors for their support, and ask everyone celebrating with us to help MLC students financially through our Congregational Partner Grant Program.
Please join us in celebrating the blessings God has granted to our ministry at Martin Luther College!
Pursuing Excellence Under the Cross
Pursuing Excellence Under the Cross is our long-range strategic plan for preparing the next generation of called workers for your congregation through your WELS College of Ministry. You can be a catalyst to help realize a generational vision for our future called workers.
